Florida International University junior Paula Zabala (ranked #79) returns a shot during her match with Iowa's Megan Racette (ranked #39) in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Coral Gables Regionals at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on Friday, May 12, 2006. Earlier in the day, Zabala combined with doubles partner, junior Nikkita Fountain, to defeat Iowa's Megan Racette and Jacqueline Lee, 8-6, and give the FIU Golden Panthers a 1 point advantage going into the singles competition. Zabala dropped the first set, 5-7, but was leading in the second set 5-4 when the match was called due to FIU securing its fourth point in the best of seven match.
