Florida International University senior Bruna Discordia volleys at the net during her doubles match against Iowa's Krissy Dowlin and Millica Veselinovic in the first round of the 2006 NCAA Coral Gables Regionals at the Neil Schiff Tennis Center on Friday, May 12, 2006. Discordia and doubles teammate Courtney Jonson defeated the Iowa Hawkeye pairing, 8-4, as the FIU Golden Panthers advanced to the singles competition with a one point advantage. The Golden Panthers upset of the Hawkeyes allowed the Golden Panthers to advance to the field of 32 in the second round of the regionals.
